У цей доленосний історичний момент науковці нашого Інституту подвоюють свої зусилля для кваліфікованого, всебічного і оперативного аналізу трагічних подій на Близькому Сході у їхньому взаємозв’язку з глобальним протистоянням двох непримиренних таборів – коаліції сил демократії, верховенства права та захисту прав особистості і табору диктатури, експансії та тиранії, опрацюванні практичних рекомендацій для української дипломатії на цьому напрямі. У цьому ми вбачаємо наш професійний і громадянський обов’язок. Це є наш внесок в нашу спільну перемогу.

Ми переконані, що цивілізований світ знайде в собі сили твердо протистояти вісі зла, тиранії та агресії як в Україні, так і в Ізраїлі.

Condemnation of the Hamas attack against Israel

The staff of the State Institution “Institute of World History of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine” was deeply disturbed by the barbaric attack of Hamas militants on Israel. Like no one else, we, the citizens of Ukraine, share your pain because our native Ukraine for almost 1 year and 8 months has been heroically resisting the aggression of the Putin regime which is one of the instigators and organizers of the current aggression against Israel. Both Ukraine and Israel today have to be on the front line of the fight against the axis of evil, losing their best sons and daughters on the front lines of the battles for our existence.

At this fateful historical moment, the scholars of our Institute are doubling their efforts for a qualified, comprehensive and operational analysis of the tragic events in the Middle East in their relationship with the global confrontation of two irreconcilable camps – the coalition of the forces of democracy, the rule of law, the protection of individual rights and the camp of dictatorship, expansion and tyranny, as well as working out practical recommendations for Ukrainian diplomacy in this direction. We see this as our professional and civic duty. This is our contribution to our common victory.

We are convinced that the civilized world will find the strength to firmly oppose the axis of evil, tyranny and aggression both in Ukraine and in Israel.
