Preparations for the adoption of a new law on the protection of cultural property and the corresponding discussions raised serious problems facing the German government, as well as arousing sharp criticism of the world of art. An important and rather complicated problem in this regard is the task of preventing the illegal movement of cultural objects belonging to the cultural property of the state.
